On 15th January 2026, Kitchen Flair was delighted to welcome members of Women in Property North West to our Preston facility for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our factory and showroom. The morning event brought together professionals from across the property sector for networking, inspiration, and a fascinating glimpse into the world of bespoke kitchen manufacturing.
A Morning of Networking and Discovery
The event kicked off with informal networking over hot drinks and pastries, giving attendees the opportunity to connect with fellow professionals from the North West property industry. The relaxed atmosphere set the tone for what would be an engaging and informative morning, bringing together women (and allies of all genders) who share a passion for the built environment and property sector.
Women in Property is a leading membership organisation dedicated to advancing gender diversity and equality across the property industry. With branches throughout the UK, the organisation provides networking opportunities, mentoring programmes, and educational initiatives that support women at every stage of their careers in property, construction, and related fields.
Behind the Scenes at Kitchen Flair
The highlight of the morning was the comprehensive tour of Kitchen Flair’s manufacturing facility and showroom. Guests had the rare opportunity to see firsthand how bespoke kitchens are crafted from initial design concepts through to finished cabinetry ready for installation.
Our Preston workshop is where the magic happens. Unlike mass-produced kitchens that rely on standard sizes and flat-pack assembly, every Kitchen Flair kitchen is made to order with careful attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. The tour showcased our manufacturing process, from precision cutting and edge-banding to assembly and finishing, demonstrating the skill and expertise that goes into creating truly bespoke furniture.
Attendees were particularly interested in seeing the Italian design influence that has shaped Kitchen Flair since its founding in the early 1990s. Our approach combines traditional craftsmanship values with modern manufacturing techniques, ensuring each kitchen is built to exacting standards whilst maintaining the personal touch that defines bespoke work.
Looking Forward
As Kitchen Flair continues to grow and evolve under Kristina’s leadership, maintaining our family values whilst embracing positive change remains central to who we are. We’re grateful to Women in Property for choosing Kitchen Flair as the venue for this event, and we look forward to continuing our support of organisations that champion equality and opportunity in the property sector.
The morning served as a reminder that the property industry thrives when diverse voices and perspectives come together, and that behind every beautiful home are skilled professionals – including many talented women – working to create spaces that enhance people’s lives.
