COMPACT ACCESSIBLE KITCHEN

COMPACT ACCESSIBLE KITCHEN

Completed work / November 2021

Design

A compact accessible kitchen can be a challenging space to design, even for our most experienced of designers. Access to the fridge and washing machine were key to this design, to help the customer be able to use the kitchen with more ease in the years to come.

Little details like an open wine rack and spice rack shelf added additional useful storage for this customer. A traditional shaker style door in colour Ivory was chosen to keep the room light with a Grey Bardolino Oak carcase and worktop adding a modern touch.

The layout remained much the same given the constraints of the room, with a few tweaks made to maximise the accessibility of appliances within the space. Glass doors above the sink help open the sink area up and a matching grey bardolino oak corner wall unit doubles as glass storage and a display area.
